Monumento alla Resistenza

In the square of the Council Hall of San Donato was unveiled this Monument to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the end of Resistenza. Sculpted by Madoi in what was his last summer and molted in bronze, this art work was unveiled with a high participation of people and authorities. The plaster scale model in full size was placed in the Church of Sesta, Parma, which was entirely fresco painted by Madoi in the 60s. The many drawings and preparatory studies are now part of museum and private collections.
