This enchanting location, full of history and dated back the tenth century,hosted the presentation of the preparatory scale model left by Madoi in 1975 which should have been the start of the project of a bronze monument meant for the town of Genova (North West of Italy). This project failed due to the death of Madoi, in March 1976. Luckily recovered after more than 30 years in the warehouse of Lorenzo dal Torrione in Pietrasanta, this model was recognised as authentic and attributed to this very project. Once restored by Alessandro Madoi, nephew of Madoi, this precious work was presented to the public along with all the preparatory drawings, personal notes and sketches found in the archives.
