Lights on Sesta

One year after the inauguration of the first restoration of eight of the nineteen frescoes painted by Madoi on the walls of the village, the Parco dei Cento Laghi has created a very suggestive lighting for these artworks which, after almost forty years after their realization, were restored to their original appearance in 2010, thanks to the contribution of the Fondazione Cariparma, the stubborn persistence of Comitato Sesta Madoi and the perfect organization of the Parco dei Cento Laghi.
With this impressive lighting system, unveiled by the authorities with an official ceremony in October 2011, was presented the thematic route Madoi, Vita di Sesta. Images of art works, painted by Madoi in Sesta over the years ' 60 and ' 76 and some of his writings, have been installed on large panels to guide the visitor in discovering the village and the woods nearby.
