Presentation of the documentary Madoi Ritrovato on the history and restoration of the fresco in the apse of Walter Madoi


After over a year of work, the restoration of the fresco of Madoi of 1966 in the apse of the Church of Corpus Domini, Parma has been admirably completed and a succession of events over the past few months, has highlighted the most salient moments of this delicate work. Since last May onwards there have been Concerts, guided visits to the ongoing restoration, conferences with precious testimonies of the people who lived those months of so many years ago when Madoi began and concluded this immense work in one summer time. With this Event, this important page on Madoi's life and work can be considered concluded and this renewed masterpiece consigned to history, with a Concert and the presentation of the documentary Madoi Ritrovato showing the various phases of the restoration, masterfully executed by Esedra, under the supervision of MIBAC A special mention to Don Marco Uriati, Pastor of the Church of Corpus Domini, which made it all possible, as well as to the Pastor at that time, Don Boraschi, who in 1966 accompanied Madoi in this adventure.
