SECOND LIFE
Second Life – a second virtual life freely available to anyone – is a world created in 1999 by Phillip Rosedale
(born 1969), a graduate in Physic at the University in San Diego. Now some 9 million of subscribers, real people or real Companies,
move around this no limit world creating or re-creating areas, spaces, or simply visiting lands or sites, where the impossible
becomes possible. Miles away, one may visit on a very private tour the most famous museums or historical sites – carefully
recreated in 3 dimensions, such as The Sistine Chapel, the Van Gogh Museum, The Louvre , or be invited to attend the most exclusive
art vernissages or art auctions, often on the same day of their opening in real life.
Following the examples of many other artists – as art is so widely represented in Second Life – we created this space
devoted to Walter Madoi and to his Foundation, with a special section for MISA, Madoi International Space of Arts, an area created
for temporary events of other Artists. Once inside Second Life, should you need assistance, send a message to Freeka Vella (Laura Madoi,
President FIWM) or to Marly Giha (Annamaria Madoi, Vice President FIWM). We will be glad to guide you through the site.
