FACING GLASS
In 1969, soon after the failing of the project of painting the Berlin Wall, he received the commission to paint the facade of the
church Sacra Famiglia, Le Vallette, in Turin (North West Italy).
Not a normal painting but a work on stained glass covering the entire front wall of more than 150 square meters.
Entirely devoted to the Magnificat (Luca, 1, 46), as required by the Commissioner, he gives his personal interpretation in
focusing the eternal dilemma between good and evil, giving emphasis to the soothing image of a Madonna (central figure) having
the features of his beloved wife, Isabella.
