SESTA
Reproduced on Second Life
Sesta is a small village on the hills near the city of Parma.
This forgotten place became famous in the early sixties (1964 to 1968) thanks to the massive and spontaneous attention created around the
paintings of Madoi inside the church and the 32 frescos spread all over the walls of the small houses of the village.
The no more than 20 inhabitants were almost forced to pose as models both in the tragic expressions of the Crocefissione inside the
church, as well as for the other paintings on the outside, where they were mixed with the images of personal friends, famous people
or still life.
